How Programs Fly: In a nutshell

Hello!

As an HR leader who frequently runs developmental programs, you would be familiar with how their impact can vary widely – and often wildly!

Through fortnightly editions of How Programs Fly, we aim to share our knowledge and toolkits to propel your programs to fly further, higher, and for longer.

Here's the structure of each edition of How Programs Fly, so that you know what to expect and if it's right for you.

Different design elements make programs fly, and in every edition we focus on one of them. We begin each edition by setting the scene with a short, personal story that highlights the inspiration behind a particular element.

With the inspiration in place, we explore a classic article, a seminal research study, or a short video lesson most relevant to the theme, and cut a long story short by summarizing it crisply.

Next, we turn to what Potentialife’s founders Tal and Angus would say on the subject. Dr. Tal Bel-Shahar (Ex-Faculty, Harvard) is a bit of a celebrity in Positive Psychology, and Angus Ridgway (Ex-Director, McKinsey & Co.) is a leading figure in Leadership Development.

Shifting gears, we share a relevant toolkit developed by Potentialife to run impactful workshops or masterclasses. We believe in open-source sharing of know-how, so this comes with no strings attached.

If you're wondering how all of this would land, the story meanders to a business professional who shares their own experience in their word, not ours. They may be a client sponsor or a Potentialife alumnus, and they have a worthy opinion to share.

We take a step back in this section, and give ‘you’ something valuable for your own personal life. It's usually a mini experiment to build helpful habits or a mini activity to experience Positive Psychology first-hand.

We wrap up the story with a classic three bullet-point nutshell to leave you with the big picture, as well as the devil in the details!

Until the next edition,

Cyrille Kozyreff (India Country Head) &
Rishabh Mehta (India Head of Marketing)
